Nitto Terra Grapplers

I need new tires and would only get Nitto Terra Grapplers because I like the tread pattern, I rarely drive off road. Are Terra Grapplers going to wear out a lot faster than a road tire? Is there another aggressive a/t tire that would wear better but still have the aggressive look.

The Terra grapplers are probably going to be your best option.

I have Terra Grapplers myself and got them just because everyone I know had BFG's. I do know the BFG is a great tire and with proper inflation and rotation you can get many many miles out of them. My experience with the Nitto's isn't as great but I don't have any complaints about them. The only other person I personally know to run them had them on a diesel pushing over 1,100 ft lbs of torque and ate them up in less than 10,000 miles. Huge difference between the two trucks so I expect to get a whole lot more out of mine.

I've got them and must say so far they are the best tire i have ever owned. They have about 8,000 miles on them and they still look brand new. They hold well in snow and rain.

I purchased my Terra Grapplers in october and have loved them so far. They have been great in the snow, although I have only put less than 3,000 miles on them since than, they show no wear.

Tehy got killed on our F-350. I hate them, they are not even aggresive. If you stay on road, stick to a street tire.

I just bought new tires and did a ton of research. A lot of places recommended the Nitto terra grappler and I got to admit, they look pretty sweet. I ended up buying a set of 275/60/20 Cooper LTZ based on the user reviews of the tire. I read all the user reviews on the Nitto's but they really didn't have customer reviews from people with more than 20,000 miles on them. If you look at the BFG A/T's they have reviews from guys with 80,000 miles on the tires.

I would've liked the BFG's, but the Cooper's got some pretty favorable reviews from people with over 50,000 miles on the tire, and it was about $80 bucks a tire less than the BFG.

Everybody loves there tires when they're brand spankin' new....I want tires that will last.

Keep them rotated good and balence and you should be good. Im on a 40k tire and have 60 k on them with about 50% tread left. I plan on getting 33" Dune Grapplers soon and I heard them getting like 35-45k out of them.

look into the Hankook ATM RF10's....i just got them recently and so far i love em....in side by side comparisons with the nittos these won....plus have a 50,000 mile warranty so imo cant go wrong
