Nitto Mud Grappler vs. Open Country MT
I'm looking at getting some new tires for my '05 xlt, and I've found an awesome deal on a set of Grapplers, and Open Countrys. I'd prefer the Toyo's, but they're 35", and the Grapplers are 33". I'm getting my 2.5" level done in the next few weeks, and I had originally planned on going 33", but my buddy who's installing the level with me at his shop says the 35's will fit. But, I'm still hesitant.
Also, I'm an everyday driver. I use my truck for work, as I'm a carpenter, so I'm well enough aware that the aforementioned rubber probably isn't my best bet. But I love the aggressive look, and that's what I'm going for.
So overall, whose ridden the Grappler rubber, and whose ridden the Toyo MT's? Whose ridden both and can compare? Pros, cons? Let me know. Thanks!

I like them both! My friend has a F350 with a 6" lift, and Toyo MT's on it, he says they've lasted him forever, about 80,000km, where the Grapplers have worn down really fast, within 30,000km. So I'm worried that since I drive a lot for my job that the Grapplers will wear much faster, and I'll end up replacing them again in a few months. I love the aggressive appeal of them, and I don't mind the noise. I like a little hum with my rubber and growl with my exhaust.
Also, apparently the 35's will rub, or that's what I'm being told. I prefer the size of the 35s, especially since I'm getting that level. But the guys keep telling me I'm going to grow tired of the rubbing, and have to trim. I hear different things from different people. I wish I just knew if I could get away with a 35 with minimal trim/rubbing/hassle, or just stick with a 33 and avoid the nonsense all together.
