not to rain on your parade, because that is a good looking truck, but if they used any parts besides ford...you'll be doing that job again

Yea, only use Ford/Motorcraft ignition, and engine control parts.

Champion made the 1st 1 piece spark plug as a replacement.
The original Motorcraft part was a 2 piece design that started this whole issue.
I do hope they at least were aware of that.
The guy who owns the shop has been a Ford mechanic for 30 years.

Ok, the Dealer I bought it from fixed the electrical problem.
They also replaced the Disk Brakes & pads also.
Now everything is working as it should, it's it's a relief.
Out of the door at $420. The bill was $1150.
That's all he wanted.
Yay, Thank you Certified Auto!!

I thought that was part of your purchase agreement? No?

Hi!
Yes it was, to a point.
I paid for the brake parts.
They replaced the brakes (including the 4 rotors), an upper A-arm, plus the electrical fault issue.
The bill with labor was over $1100.
I felt that was a fair deal.

Hello,
Several things have have been done to my F150 since my last post.
It now has the windows tinted.
Also, a Pioneer AVH-601es with Sirius/XM radio & a back up camera were installed.
A remote start system will be installed on Thursday.
I think it is now how I like it!

What exactly was the "phaser fix?" New phasers, or new tensioners? If only phasers were replaced, that is just the equivalent of replacing a bandaide on a wound that won't heal.

I personally would avoid a remote start system, as on these trucks that involves taping a chipped key up under the dashboard.

Not exactly true(you can either use a spare key or bypass module), I installed a remote start and used the bypass module that doesn't require an additional key.
I used this one:
