New Truck / Console Replacement Question
Greetings everyone!
Just purchased an '08 SuperCrew. The center console doesn't lift up for storage (the entire thing lifts up for another seat, but no storage) and the salesmen said I could find an aftermarket replacement. So far, all I have come across are the ones that you just plop down; lifting the center piece up permanently.
What I'm wanting is something that completely replaces what's there now; i.e. unbolt the factory / remove, re-bolt the replacement.
Any place you guys recommend for stuff like this? Thanks!

Is there an online store that sells this stuff? Searching on the 'net gives me 1000's of websites, none of which seem relevant. 
edit: or the websites all seem to be part of a wholesaler type system (same catalog), in which there are no options for replacement parts for the interior of the vehicle.

Is your shifter on the collum or on the floor. If it is not a floor shifter I don't see how an FX4 console would work. The center piece is all one piece that joins to the dash.

I would imagine that your best bet for finding one woudl be www.craigslist.com or www.ebay.com/motors

I am not sure what else Ford offers but if you have bucket seats the one I have in my Dodge would probably fit. It has one storage compartment in the top section that also has a power outlet plus a larger storage compartment in the bottom section. It folds down to an arm rest and up in to a seat. It does not how ever have any cup holders for the front or the back. I really like the storage capabilities in my Dodge.
