Default New tires will they add any lift to truck?

Hey guys I'm getting some new tires in a month or so and I was first going to get 275 65 r20.
It's an upgrade from 275 50 20.

Now I'm thinking about going up in size so I can have more lift to the truck. What is a good tire size for me to get to add a couple of inches to the truck? I don't won't an extremely wide tire buy the way.

2005 4x4. 3.5 in front spacer with 3in block in rear.

Are you saying you have a 3.5" front leveling kit rather than the more common 2.5" ?? If so, your truck must sit high. A 275 65 20 would only be about a 33" tire, right? You can certainly fit something larger, but sizes in the 275 width are limited. Nitto makes a 295 65 20 that looks great, it's a 35" tire and would fit depending on what wheels you are using.

The oem size for 20s is 275 55 20, and they are about 31.8" tall. If you go with a 33" tire, only half of that 1.2" height difference goes toward making the truck "taller." So going from the factory 275 55 20 size to a 35" tire would make the truck 1.6" taller.

275/65R20 is going to be closer to 34.5" tall while a 275/60R20 would be a 33" tall tire. Those would be the sizes I would check out.

Thanks for the info guys. I've been doing some research and I think I want to go with 285 65 r20 AT. Any brands you guys recommend and what brands carry this size?

Price range if you've bought this size b4.

Yes it's a 3.5in leveling kit. I looking more into a all terrain tire than a mud tire since most of my driving in not off road.

Looks like the only all terrain option would be the BFG TA KO at over $350 each. If you stick with a 275/65/20 they will be more reasonable.

Oh okay that is a little pricey I didn't know they were that expensive. So what about a 275 65? Price range/brand names.? Thx for the heads up.
