New tires next week
Hello everyone; I'm going to go buy some new tires next week for my truck. I'm planning on getting 285/70/17 on the stock FX4 rim; I've been depating on either the BFGoodRich All Terrian's or maybe the Toyo Open Country Mud Terrian's. I'm gonna be mostly doing 70% on road 30% off road so I'm thinking allterrian's may be the best bet but has anyone used the Toyo Mud's? Do the ware too fast if used on pavement mostly? Thanks everyone, if you have another tire that may be better please let me know

Okay, in second thought I'm gonna plan on getting the BFGoodRich; didn't know how much the Toyo's were.... But if anyone has a review about the BFGoodRich please let me know, or if ya'll have a better experience with another tire that you would recommend

I've had 285 r18 on stock FX4 rims for 45k miles and there is still plenty of tread left. I'm running a 2.5" AS and Skyjacker AAL. The last set onmy '99 lasted ~65k miles. always my daily driver.

I have 285/70/17's on my 05 4wd. Great tire, very smooth ride, no road noise at all. I have 20k on mine and they look and have tread as if they were brand new. This is my first set of bfg and probably will get the same at's when it comes time for new tires.
