Default New Rod Rack...Works With Tonneau Covers & Bed Caps!

So after designing, building, testing, adjusting this design, it's ready to go. This new one works with tonneau covers and bed caps. The rods can either be completely horizontal for a tonneau cover with the tail gate down, or with a bed cap's rear window open. The rear rod rack part is on a zinc plated marine, ball bearing, drawer slide rated to 90lbs. If you need space for loading the bed and want to get the rear pieces out of the way, they easily slide out to retain the factory tail gate width. On the rear piece there are foam strips to protect the rods. Each side will be $64.99 or $109.99 for both sides. These install in minutes and work whether or not you have the bed rail caps or not since the mounting hardware are toggle bolts! Just push the toggle bolts through the holes in the bed and tight with a rachet. Like all of the rod racks, these are made from solid mahogany and finished off with a rubberized, durable black coating. PM me for more info, etc. The website should be coming soon, I've just been busy.

I'm working on a new design that will be cheaper and mount magnetically to the box.

Is 3 the max you can fit on a single side?

Yes, 3 is the max each side because the wheel well gets in the way with anymore and you can't squeeze anymore rods in because it gets too tight with the reels hanging down.
