Ok guys, heres your laugh for the day. I was goin down the highway doing the speed limit (and by speed limit i mean keeping up with traffic, somewhere between 50 and 60) and a light turned yellow on me. i was at the point where i couldnt stop in time so i floored it. the car next to me slammed on his brakes and locked them up. about a mile up the road i look in my mirror and see the blue lights. i pulled over and he says the reason he pulled me over is because i spun wheels through the light. now all of us know that our trucks stock will not spin wheels going that speed when you step on it. i looked at the cop and said, "Sir, this truck doesnt have enough power to spin these tires like that." i have 33" Pro Comp xtreme a/t's. yes it was wet and yes i have a programmer but that was only on level 1. it still wont spin em goin that fast on level 3 with everything turned up (trust me, ive tried it...multiple times). so i tell the cop that what he heard was the car next to me. he takes my license and registration and comes back a few minutes later and says he doesnt buy that story that it was the car next to me. i wanted to jump outta the window and punch him in his face but then he handed me a warning so i couldnt argue. and the only reason i got a warning is because i was in uniform and he "Greatly appreciates what im doing for my country." after i calmed down a little bit, i couldnt stop laughing. its funny how a cop sees more power in our trucks then what they actually have. i just thought this was really funny and id share it with you.

yeah for real i wish my truck would spin 35's at 50mph. then i wouldn't need a mustang

the only time ive seen our trucks do this is when theyre super/turbo charged. other than that, they wont do it. i still cant stop laughing.

wow. they actually give you guys paper warnings? that sucks. i know people in uniform and if they get pulled over by a cop they just show them their military id and the cops let them go.

i love being in uniform. gets me outta trouble all the time (unless ur in killeen, tx with Fort Hood right there) they like to pull u over. but that is a funny story. i think i was able to spin my tires once going 50 and it happened to be a giant ice storm out..

I have had the same exact thing happen to me that happend to you.The only thing is he gave me a ticket.I wasnt in my acu's,but rather my greens and the ****er still gave me a ticket.I also tried to explain it to him that its imposible to spin my 35's.He didnt by it and still gave me a ticket($180.00) so i faught it in court on my own.Brought in two experts to help me with my claim that you cant spin 35's.one guy that worked for ford for 13years,a buddy of mine,and he brought in a tire expert that he knew.In the end the ticket was dropped and the cop who gave me a ticket who was in the court room with me(in my city if your contesting ticket,the issuer has to also be their)the cop looked like a fool in front of everyone in the court room,you could hear ppl giggle to themselves,i loved it,lol.
