Default New owner of a 2005 f150 5.4L. PLEASE HELP

I am a new owner to this vehicle it has 77,000. I have seen and heard some bad things about the engine. Is there a way I can prevent all of this like a certain maintenance I should keep up with. I am very new to this truck please help me and let me know before it's too late.

Quick burn it before it explodes!

Just good maintenance and not beating the crud out of it.

A. Get the old 2 piece plugs out now.. if it has not been done, replace with SP515 motorcraft and some new boots and springs.
B. Oil and filter change every 5K miles with proper oil and filter.
C. Change all the fluids.. front and rear diff..coolant..brake..fuel filter all that.
D. Lower your spare tire and remove and inspect the fuel pump drive module.. I would replace it with the new version.
E. If it's 4WD..Replace the IWE solenoid behind the battery mounted on the firewall.. new version has a rain hood to prevent water from getting into the vacuum lines

That's a starting point for you..
