Default New old truck

Sold the 06 and picked up this 01 powerstroke for a good deal. Mainly just use the truck for camping, towing the travel trailer and four wheelers so I wanted to get rid of the payment when the red truck was just sitting most of the time. I'll still be around

Man I can't believe you sold it! Your truck was sick! Enjoy the diesel. Any plans for it or is going to stay stock? I'd like to see a picture of it when you get a change also

That's too bad but no payment is super nice! Did you recoup money from doing the gears? I was about to regear to 4.56 like you but I owe taxes this year. Must be nice to have that 7.3 towing, sometimes I want a bigger motor to tow with ease but my 4.6 is up for the job but hills suck. Plus i keep thinking about going back to 33 tires or 4.10 gears. I'm just towing 4 quads, all the gear and 4 passengers.

Small plans, DIY intake, 4 inch turbo back exhaust, 6 position php Phoenix chip and gauges. Looks wise it wil stay the same as I bought it. Has negative offset wheels with duratrac 33s.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I recouped the cost, but I had about 5800 in equity and I sold it for 16000 to the ford dealer. The way I had it customized, was becoming a little difficult to find a buyer that liked all the mods. I bought it for 20 2.5 years ago, put 4 into it. So 8 grand for 2.5 years and 20k miles. Not the best deal, but hey. Baby on the way so trying to save where I can.
