I like the whole ipod thing, but wouldnt want the ipod sticking out, I would want it controlled by the head unit. But then you ususlly hide the ipod behind the dash, and the is bad because they are not suposed to freeze, and then you cant get it out when you want to use it.

anyone got any good ideas on how to get around this?

The one I bought will be controlled through the head unit and the Ipod can sit in the glove box while in the truck and you can remove it when you want to.

Dealer called today (woke me up ) to say they have my replacement radio. So I'll try to get it replaced thursday when I finally get a day off After that I'll get it installed.

It's in the shop right now After I get it back I will finally get the ipod interface installed
