Hey y'all! Leah here. Was out yesterday & noticed that my 2005 suddenly dropped acceleration while driving. Drove it straight home & haven't driven it since. Any ideas as to what would cause this?
Thanks! Leah

Truck information.
How was the drive home?

My guess based on the information given, and knowledge of the engines in that year model is:
2005 F-150 5.4L V8, 4x2
150,000 miles
Routine oil changes
Best guess at the problem, FPDM is going down, plugs are bad, boots are trash, or a coil has gone bad. Since those are the usual suspects. But like others said, we need more info.
Did the truck go into limp mode? (wrench icon on dash)
Did it stutter and almost feel like the transmission was shifting hard?
