Welcome to the site!

If you believe these trucks have 300 ponies and 365 ft. lbs of torque you are wrong my friend.

I would recommend a trailer brake since you are going to tow a lot.

I havent seen many F150's, if any, that have an 5th wheel setup, so this will be a first.

Did you order the towing package???

yes the trailer package is with it, and it is also 4 whl.
I am only leasing veh so if it dont pull worth a darn then i can move up
a notch. I figured it was worth a try as we are not going to be hauling
all over the country side just yet.
thanks for the reply.

to the site Bob. My load is about 6,500lbs and my truck pulls it without any issues. You won't be the fastest rig moving down the road but it should get the job down for ya.
The HP rating is 300 but by the time it's at the wheels it's around 225HP this is from all the dynos I've read. I don't remember what the rear wheel torque was but I'm sure it ain't no 365 that they rate it to be.

No offense guys, I would never pull anything that heavy with a 1/2 ton let alone a gasser.. That 5.4 will get a workout every time it's used for that, not to mention the tranny, and the gear searching it will do!!

You need to let go of that Dodge and step it up with that Ford you got. Really you'd be surprised mine pull my load very well. Of course I'm only loading mine around 75% of the tow capacity.

The truck shouldnt be doing any gear searching since your turn the overdrive OFF
