I picked up new bulbs for my 07 F150 today. The drivers side will not separate at all from the wiring harness and the passenger came apart but one of the prongs snapped off and is stuck in what appears to corrosion. I contacted the local dealership to see if they had any suggestions or if I was going to have to replace the wiring harnesses on both sides. They told me to soak them in WD40 and use needle nose pliers to pull out the broken prong. I have tried that a few times now over the past few hours and still no luck getting either the prong to come out or the driver's side to separate. I have the truck sitting in my garage for now. I was wondering if any one else ran into this issue and how did u resolve it. I am going to try coca cola to see if it removes the corrosion. I am open to suggestions and Ill post if the coke works.
