Default NEEDS help with sub questions

I plan on getting a in dash screen for my 2007 Extended Cab and also looking for a sub and amp. I'm looking more to a 10" sub. does anyone know a nice sub box that they bought and fits tight under the backseat? And also, what sub/amp do you suggest using.

i have always been an avid jl fan and i stand by them if you want just decent bass and sounds great i would do a jl 10 w3v3 if you were looking for some massive bass and still good sound i would do a 10 w6v2, but i dont know if you will be able to fit that 10 in there that might take a little bit of research

I just put a 10w3 in a foxbox and it sounds awsome and my jack is still in the factory location

SmokeStack,

Can you add more pics of your sub box. Maybe one with the seat out. I was wondering how much that cost and what the model number is. What kind of amp do you have and where is it?

Thanks,

Tim

In my opinion, JL is overpriced for what you are getting. I have been working on sub stages for years, and one of the best brands to compete (and beat, both in SQ and SPL) is Image Dynamics. They offer slimline versions of their subs as well - definitely take a look at them.

And for the amp, I have always put Hifonics in my setups, but they're lower power amps aren't "pretty" IMO, but here's a look at one that would fit the above:

If you want to stay with ID, it'll cost you, their amps are costly. Perhaps look at US Amps, they are very reliable and have a sleek look:

And to wire it all together:

I have used KnuKonceptz countless times now, and I am yet to be disappointed. Best wire in the market IMO and for a damn good price at it.

If you have any questions, let me know.
