Question need sone help with my issue ..

05. F150. 5.4 ... 152k. Having a rough idle feels like all cylinders not just 1 on hard accel no power when warm. Cold its still a rough idle just not as pronounced. It gets more rough as engine heats up . Running 5w30 motorcradt oil and filter What was done to my motor in the last 6 months

Phasers
Guides
Tensioners
Chains
Fuel filter

Still have original. Vct solenoids installed and cam sensors

Done in the last 2 weeks
plugs
Cops
Drivers bank fuel injectors

Checked for vac leaks couldn't find one cleaned maf checked fdpm no holes
Oil pressure cold 70. Hot 30. After driving for 20 min 20psi. Phasers are not making nose

4 weeks ago had a 0430 reset ecu and changed injectors no light. Nor not getting a cel nor a cell at all. may be all. I'm thinking mechanical. Like a bad tensioner? For oil pressure creeping low ... any advice will help. Thinking of trading in possibly but don't want to

I don't think your going to like my answer. You should have 25psi minimum oil pressure while engine is hot. If you are getting 20 PSI at test port it could be even lower in upper engine. It sounds like your main bearings are worn out. I'm completely against what I'm about to say. You could add a Lucy's oil additive or engine restore to see if it helps with oil pressure at all. Why the main bearings in 3valve don't hold up well I don't know. I change my 3valve oil at 3k or before because of this issue.

Just changed it engine is clean no sludge.. . I'm assuming the timing components are good. That slow pressure loss after driving 30 min is because of main bearing wear ..and still have a rough running motor after warm up. I'm gonna trade it my first and prolly last f150

What is your rpm when the pressure is reading 20?

650 rpm. It falls to 20. Been to 18 After 30 min of driving ... engine isn't knocking.. having a bad idle

It can sit all day at idle @ 30 psi after driving a while it will drop to 20 @ idle telling me a tensioner may be going out.. cheap Chinese copy
As for the idle hot bad idle can be because of maybe leaking tensioner .. hot its rough even at 30 psi
