Default Need some help with removing fuel filter

Tried to change the fuel filter today, the rear came off with the push in tab. However, the from refuses to come out after I push in the Lyle fuel scissor tool in. Don't know if I'm doing it right. Three videos on youtube. Any ideas? Detailed info on using the tool and confirmation of which size is appreciated!

There's 2 different sizes depending on if yours is flex fuel or not. Use the one that best fits on the line. Best advice I can give you is pull the line all the way back, put the scissor tool on and push towards the line, then push the line towards the tool. I've never really had a problem with them.

Last week I replaced mine. This video covers it, I used the Lisle white disconnect, the scissor one was preferred in this video, just push it in enough and gently pull the filter away from the tool and the line.

Never had luck with the scissor type. Get the push on ones, it will come right off.
