Default In need of new muffler for 4.6

So my stock muffler has developed a home due to some rust on it about size of half of a hand and now in need of a new muffler I've been looking into the flowmaster 40series and just put a 90° turn coming off of it. Anybody running anything like this how would it sound 4.6L? Looking for something loud and won't really drone out but sometimes thats it's crazy loud in the inside

The closer the outlet is to the cab, the louder it will be. I have the Thrush Welded muffler (40 series clone) with the stock piping out and it's not bad at all.

I had a single 18” cherry bomb glasspack on mine with a resonator delete and it sounded great. $20 for the muffler, $10 for a 2.5” test pipe and some welding wire, and a length of 1/2” round stock I made some pipe hangers out of, was all it took.

100% satisfied with my Flo-Pro mufflers,, especially after the breakin period of a couple thousand miles. Compliments all the time on how good it sounds just sitting still,, open her up and this huge grin covers my face every time. They are Flowmaster 40 Series “knock-off’s” and sound great ! definitely much less expensive than Flowmasters
