I am lifting my back seat with an LMI lift. Then I am getting a JL 10w6v2 with the JL 500.1. I already have four 5x7 eclipse speakers and a 400.4 kicker amp. I just have to get a custom box made because normal boxes are designed for the standard seat depth. The JL needs a 7inch mounting depth, and with a 2 inch lift I should be good for air space, and it should clear the sub.

it's not underrated the m class may have an RMS of 200 but that's just to give you a basis as to how much power you wanna put into it as a minimum you can go with less but more power is ALWAYS better!!! : p

Not sure if anyone posted this but they have them on eBay, not sure of quality but looks like someone can get 12's in there....have to move you jack and maybe lift the seat.

dont go with the 10w6v2 i had one jl is good stuff but you cant put them to work like alot of other subs. if you want a great sounding sub and that you can run some heavy wattage to i would go with the memphis 10" M3 they pound

here is a simple mod that took me less than 5 hours to complete from finish to end...including running wires and all customizing to the box.

bought a pre-fab box from the local store at a reasonable price and added 3/4 inch to the depth so that i could get a 10w3v3 sub in it. The box is for two and so you obviously have to do it for both sides. the airspace is slightly lower than what it calls for but you cant tell. Right now i am only running one ten and it sounds incredible, gets low, reacts perfectly and just an all around great sub...not saying its the biggest or badest but great for my 08 f150 supercrew. it took maybe an hour and half to two hours to complete the box. The only main issue is that you will have to make some adjustments to the bottom of the back seat to get it to sit flush with the end of the seat. you can either, which sounds horrible but a lot of places do this, dent the bottom of the seat in just where the speaker box needs it or cut the pice of metal from the bottom of the seat out. Its not much, the box only sits out an inch so its at your call whether its necessary. im pushing my subs with a zx600 kicker amp and am very pleased considering i just had two 15's in a jeep. i actually like the 10w3's a lot better. once i complete the job ill post some pictures, hopefully itll be done tonight with all the minor tweaks and perfections. if you have any questions and are interested i can explain it all easily. good luck, hope this helps.

dude, i got the same truck, and i put in one 12" kicker shallow mount with a ported box, and it pounds. you will have to get a custom box made, but its worth it. the sub handles a max of 800 watts, i have a 700 watt amp pushin it. i have pics of it on my profile
