I got a cylinder # 6 misfire, no other codes other than a lean code. I changed coil and plug, and no help. Would an injector cause a specific cylinder misfire, or any other sensor? It shakes and surges, and has a bad loss of power pulling hills or when at cruising speeds.

An injector could most definitely cause that problem. Maybe switch the injector to a different cylinder and see if the code moves with it?

Do you have a CAI?

The aftermarket CAI are generally nice looking stainless things. While the stock intake is a oval shaped black plastic beauty. Snap a pic of what you got and post it on here so we know. A lot of cold air intakes can make a truck run lean. Not saying that is your problem, but it might be, so I would like to see what intake you have.

The K&N filter is something I haven't ever been too fond of for these trucks. They worked good for the 97-2003 crowd, but don't really help on these trucks. I've been sticking to a regular paper filter. Don't want to worry about oiled filters that close to the engines intake.

Yup. Put the stock back on and see what happens. Or get a tuner and a custom tune to use your CAI.

I crawled under the truck and noticed the back of the muffler is rusted completely out and has a lot of black on it. Do yall know what could cause a muffler to rust out completely out it looked fine a year ago. Im not sure if that would be a fuel related issue.
