Well, I got mom squared away and finally made time to R&R the drivers side phaser. I went with the Freedom racing Single Side 3V Aftermarket Cam Phaser Replacement Tool & Parts Kit and followed "Ford 5.4L 3v Camshaft Phaser Replacement**UPDATED FASTER PROCEDURE**" by FordTechMakuloco. The process took me ~3 hours including oil change with Penzoil platinum full synthetic 5w30. I also followed the "re-learn" steps upon starting it. I went on a 15 mile test drive and it ran great without a CEL 😁. Thanks all for the support!
