Default Need help identifying a part.

I'm having issues with the two plastic pieces at the base of the windshield below the wiper arms. Either something is broken or their is a defect in it since when it gets cold the two pieces separate and the one in front of driver actually will curl up some. What I don't know is what the part is actually called and the few parts diagrams I've seen don't show the part well enough for me to be sure that is what I want. One diagram I saw call it a Cowl Grille, is that correct.

Thanks,
Bubba

FYI - If you're looking for a quick fix and if you don't care about doing this kind of think, you can run a screw through the front of the driver's side cowling and secure it to the passenger side piece to help hold it down. Just make sure it's low enough.

Mine broke and I purchased both sides new from Tasca and with shipping was $140.00 and some change. Took me about 15-20 minutes to replace both sides. Mine was doing the same as yours then finally broke into several pieces and was rubbing on the hood.

There is a TSB attached to that issue. I don't have the # right now but you can Google it for the fix. I would do it when its warm however so as not to break the plastic tabs.

Default Dry rot

Is this cowling the part that has the rubber piece on the outside edges? Mine have dry-rotted on both sides, and I am wondering: 1) Do I really need the rubber piece because as far as I can tell you can only get them by replacing the entire cowling? and 2) If I do need the rubber piece, where can I get the cowling with it attached other than the Ford dealership. Thanks in advance for your help.

What does this mean? Is Ford supposed to fix this. I am not familiar with a TSB.
