Need Help.... Anyone? 04 f150 4.6L limited power???
First off, I was formerly Clayton9698, but hello to all again.(lost password and email info)this is the situation...04 4.6L F150, 118,000 miles. ABS light is on when I turn the key on. within 1 mile it goes into limited power mode.previously, the abs light and limited power mode would kick on randomly (sometimes not at all, sometimes within 1 mile). when it did this it threw a P2106, I replaced the throttle body, and it didn't fix it. I read somewhere that the coils (on the plugs) would kick the P2106, so I replaced them. no help. ANY THOUGHTS will be greatly appreciated.

This is one of those situations that throwing parts at it will cost more money than taking it in to have a "pro" look at it. There are a bunch of thnigs that can cause this code. TACM motor stuck open or closed, PCM Damaged, MAF fault, TPS Fault, OSS Fault, TSS Fault or brake module fault. Usually there are other DTCs with it. I did not see you mention any.

I haven't had it looked at since it has gotten worse. i'll be getting it hooked up to a better scanner thing this weekend to see if its any transmission codes or anything the autozone scanner didn't pick up. side note, I prefer to do all the work on it myself. i'd cry if I had to drop my baby off at a shop....
