that is what I thought, however, my concern is why all of the sudden are the plugs and potentially coils bad? truck was running fine before I put her under the knife, i will say im sure some dirt and what not got into the spark plug hole when i was removing the valve covers. But other than that I just cant seem to figure out why they would go bad all of the sudden, and I didnt get a actual code, just the blinking check engine light. but there is definitely a hard acceleration and at the 1100-1500 rpm spot, feels like the engine is about to fall out, followed by a very hard vibration.

There should be a pending code if it flashed the CEL. Mine has always had a pending misfire code whenever the CEL flashed. It could be something other than the plugs but they are usually the culprit when a misfire is present. Also the coils rarely ever go bad. It's usually just the boots and springs.

How many miles do you have on the current plugs and boots/springs?

I dont know, I just recently bought the truck, and fixed the cam phaser issue i knew it had. I havent pulled a plug yet to inspect them, But the truck was running great prior to repair. but maybe new phasers are trying to tell me something.

Plugs are not too expensive and boot/springs are about $40 so it's good preventative maintenance. Again, it's your call if you want to do that or not. It is just a suggestion and no guarantee it will fix your problem.

Update: this morning I ran and got some coil boots for the cylinders, found 2 of my connectors for my COPs were having a hard time reconnecting due to the little rubber grommets inside the actual connectors (there was no salvaging those). started driving to work and when it was cold it felt okay, then as it warmed up the misfire symptoms and the violent shaking came back, and I actually had a hard cylinder 3 mis code on the dash. so I guess plugs will be next, but one of the techs at my work is bringing in his snap on scan tool tomorrow so Ill take a drive with him tomorrow and see what he the scan tool says the cylinders are doing or if its possibly out of time from the phaser replacement, but I have definitely noticed it gets much worse as it warms up. So Im, not sure if maybe the new phaser on one of the banks isnt doing its job.
