Start by interrogating your ignition switch and a code test
Those ignition switches get loose internally just like the older ones
The grounds need to be checked behind both kick panels
Ignition switch or bad ground is my guess, and scan test to help you determine which system

Sounds like you have an intermittant electrical connection, when cold the connection will expand enough to not make a connection, when it heats up it will contract and the connection is made. This could be anywhere, these F150's do have issues with intermittant operation of the insturment cluster due to poor connections.
