After installing my new HID kit, one headlight stopped working! Please help!!!
Ok, I was so excited about getting my new 10000K HID kit that I got, it worked fine when i installed it, then I drove to a gas station and after turning my car back on at the gas station, one of the sides started flickering when u start the car on, then the lights would come on after few seconds. So I got back home, started messing around with wiring and I think I fried one of the headlight harness or something, because one headlight is not working anymore. Is there like diff fuses or relays for each side??? I know I was messing around with these wires while the car was on, which I prolly shouldn't of done! Please help!!!

Well it came with the balasts and the bulbs and at the end, two wires that would needed to be pluged in to stock harness. one goes in the middle and one on the side. I dont know why they would flicker either....

Nope. It did not...Ive had HID kits before, which worked fine also and did not had to be grounded nor connected to the battery. and it was a direct plug in play setup, just like this one. However it never flickered when u start the car up....is there diff fuses or relays for each side of the the headlamp?

now that i think about it, when i did mine, the guy told me if it flickered, turn it off immediatley cuz theres a relay you need. i guess its only with certain kits. if thats what hes talking about, your gonna need a whole new kit. id check with a shop near you and see what they say

They are flickering because the ballasts cannot get the required amperage to fire the lights up. Maybe just try and turn on the ights after the engine is running. Or get the relay kit which pulls power from the battery directly. The stock harness is too thin to pull the amount of power so when you start the truck and the lights are on they aren't firing right. My buddies old Tundra was setup with relays and he never had an issue.

Guys thanks for all replies!
So anyone can tell me, why one of my headlights is not working now? Did I burn the wiring harness or something? Like i said, even when I plug the old hologen bulb back in, its not working anymore. Just one side. Is there 2 diff fuses for each side???

Does the harness have any signs of heat damage?? DO all of the lights work and just not this one side? (ie. parking, blinker, other headlight)
