Yes, when I was under there to lower the spare to put air in it, and take a look at the fuel modular I looked at the wiring by the bumper, an notices a loop of wire, after playing with it unraveling it, it was a 7-pin connector. I know the old man I purchased the truck from, I know he did not have this installed after he purchased it. The truck did come from factory with the Heavy tow package. I don't know if that means anything.

You also have to install or make sure the relay is installed that powers the trailer brake controller and sends power to the otherwise non-powered pins on your 7 pin connector. To my knowledge, most trucks equipped with the 7 pin connector came with the relay and brake control wiring harness in a package usually in the glove compartment. The harness will probably have a label saying something to the effect of "connect to instrument panel feed". Maybe others can elaborate more but, I believe the harness is for you to wire up a brake controller and the relay is what sends power to the pins other than the brakes/turn signals and running lights.

Yes, I saw that it requires adding another relay.

Funny thing is on etrailer.com, they show this video which looks very similar to mine, except the part they list says it wont fit on the 2005 F150.

Check out this article on adding a 7-Way connector to an 05 F-150 that has a factory 4-Way connector: https://www.etrailer.com/expert-28.html

Unfortunately the 118247 7-Way is only confirmed to fit 2004 F-150s. We have not found this harness to fit any other model years.
