Need brake booster help fast
I lost all vacuum today and just found a disconnected line behind the engine that leads to the brake booster. It is getting dark and I cant find where it goes and my garage is full with car to be painted. Anyone know where it goes? A picture of the back of a 5.4 would be awsome!

There's a recall on that hose.
Bad vacuum hose on the 05-06 Ford F150 and Lincoln Mark/LT could lead to loss of vacuum on the brake booster.
Ford is recalling 650,000+ vehicles in the US and Canada to fix the problem.
FORD RECALL NO. 08S05

I rembered that right after typing that post. Im an idiot! The sad part is mine has already been in for that recall. Oh well. If you want something done right your going to have to scrape a few knuckles yourself.

if it came off from behind the intake ill tell you now it sucks. I just did that yesterday and it took me two hours and alot of swearing to get that tube back on. Theres really four options to do. The dealers book says to either drop the motor or lift the cab? which is sensless and is just to get more money for the time. what i did and it is tight is go from underneath and on the back right side of the left head there is a nipple way up there that you have to push it on too. Or you can take off the throttle body and you should be able to reach back there that way too! either way its no quick fix

It took some choice words here as well but I got it by just removing the trans cable mount and reaching up in from underneath. I also had to unbolt the front drive shaft and move it aside. If you do this it will sit on the sway bar just out of the way.
