Remove shroud and fan. Start engine. Put this in your ears and touch the end to the bolt holding the pulley on the engine front cover. Compare its volume and sound to other areas on the truck, especially other pulleys.

Sorry, I was the definition of vague with what I said. haha
Take an automotive stetho, or long handle screwdriver and carefully place the tip on each idler bearing retaining bolt while running. Watch your hands. (if using a screwdriver, place your ear to the handle)
