My STX
Howdy, hope you don't mind if I post a few pics of my pickup. Got it back in February. '05 STX 4x4, 4.6L. 5% tint up front, 2.5% in back. Also removed the stock muffler planning on installing a Flowmaster 50 series but I like the sound with no muffler so I'm leaving it at that. Cost: $0.:D Also plan on installing Harley-Davidson headlights and some black wheels. And I think that'll do it for me.

Clean truck, it has a nice deep tone.

Hey Nice truck, we have the same one. Well mine used to look like that when i bought it.
|
Hell no we don't mind! Nice truck JP2085!

Have to say power mirrors are a must.
Looks/sounds great otherwise! |
Looks familiar  Sounds nice too...might have to yank my muffler out! Did you have someone weld in a section of pipe or did you just use some exhaust clamps?
|
Thanks guys. Munky, all I've done so far is remove the pipe before the muffler; the straight pipe after the y-pipe. So the exhaust is coming out of the y-pipe right now. My next days off I'm going to have a piece of pipe with a turndown clamped on to the y-pipe just to get it away from the cab.
And sirmo, I agree on power mirrors. I hate coming out from Wal-mart and seeing somebody bumped into one of my mirrors. :censored: I don't mind manual locks and windows but I can't stand manual mirrors. |
i switched my manual to power mirrors. i just didnt hook up the power but if they get bumped they just fold in, you just simply fold it back out to fix it. no mirror adjustment required. it simply swithced out with 3 nuts per mirror.
