Default Was my spare tire switched before I bought my truck?

I have an '07 4x4 that came stock with 275/65/18s on the corners. I recently replaced them with 275/70/18s. I'm going to replace the spare with a 275/70/18 as well (I already have one with about 1/2 tread life). Today I dropped the spare and was surprised to find a 16" steel wheel with a 265/75/16 tire mounted on it. Did this spare come from Ford or was it replaced by the previous owner? I only ask because my dad has almost the exact same truck as me and it came with a full size (275/65/18) spare from the factory. I'm planning to replace the 16" spare wheel with an 18" wheel regardless since I already have the new spare tire. I'll be hunting one down on Ebay or local junkyards unless a forum member has one they'd like to sell cheap.

Mine has a spare that matches the size of the other tires.

How many lug holes are on your spare?

No '04+ F150 came with 16" wheels and I dont think a 16" wheel will clear the brakes.

Yeah, I tried to put it on just to see if my suspicions would prove true. It isn't even the right bolt pattern. Rogers, I reponded to your PM. Thanks bro.
