so i just got off the phone with the supervisor. he is going to let the warranty stay in effect even though i cut the wires. i should have pressed for a NEW kit because i still feel this is not right. i know one thing, if i have ANY problems with them at all. im sending them right back. who wants a hacked harness on there vehicle? esp. if i ever had to sell it.
at first they were only going to send me a new harness but i told him i had to cut both sides in order for it to work.then he said they cant warranty it. i told him thats the MAIN reason i bought the kit from them. he must have talked to his boss to "make and exception" and they approved it. the notes will be on my invoice and a email will be sent to me so i may have a copy also.
and for future refference, they will pay for return shipping if you have any problems with the lights. i figured i would have to pay and WAIT another 2 weeks.
but, i guess this will work and i might have to claim to have problems in the future becuase i dont think i should have to worry if the lights are suddenly going to die on me.

I got the top of the line kit and I can honestly say it's the best HID kit I've seen for under $100. Plenty of people I know have cheap kits and they flicker and make all kinds of interference, and while I did pay $83 shipped for my kit from DDM because I got the slim digital ballasts, HI/LO, and 55W, I have had NO problems whatsoever from them in the week or so I've had them. I even left them on one day after I killed the truck in the morning to run to school, came back 8 hours later, and the battery wasn't dead or near it I don't think because my truck started right up. Even though they did ship my stuff slow it was worth the wait, and I would recommend them any day. Sorry about your bad experience, I'm sure they'll get things sorted out for you.

That sucks man! I don't even know what to say. I just put my DDM kit in last week and I'm very pleased with it. But just a note on the sticky pads.........don't rely on them, mine came off after about 4 days. I cleaned where I put them really good and everything. I've just got my ballast zip tied up to where they won't hang down. Still don't know what to do with them

i had a problem with DDM as well, it was for motorcycle HID's but still. i tried to contact them and tell them the problem and after i said i wanted to return them they stopped replying to emails and putting me on hold for over 25 mins where i just decided to hang up after listening to the music while watching tv. when i sent an email to them a week or so later informing them that i was contacting te better business bureau they replied within 5 minutes with a return shipping label and rather long apology. i still reported them.
