Awesome. I seem to have horrible luck with painting plastics and chrome dipped items so yea lol and for an emblem your lookin around 50 bucks shipped i think. Id fabricate somethin before spendin that. Theirs some double sided tape out their thatll work WONDERS! Or else you could permanently bond it to your grille with an adhessive! Just options. N if you were doin adifferent color scheme for yer emblem theirs patriotdecals.com (35 bucks gets you A (1...one) nylon sticker to go over your emblem). yes, one sticker for 35 bucks. Otherwise i did mine n id be glad to give ya a step by step. painted mine black with white lettering.

Looks great man! I've been considering doing this as well. But I have thought about doing them PTM the rest of the truck. I'm not sure how it would look though....

Yeah that's definitely wrong. It's 10 bucks an overlay so u can get the front and back for 20. I have some so don't try to say I'm wrong

Got ya now lol. Figured it was paintin it same color as the truck. Id say if you do that make sure you use actual automotive paint n clear (obviously). N not to cheap out on it, obviously those specific parts take a blast from the elements n ya dont want to have it flaking or anything like that in 6 months then have to re do it. I think it would look sharp, depending on the vehicle color or how well you can match the paint.

not really even considering it...these pieces are not meant to match and I cant see it looking good...I think they should be a little different to give the whole truck some contrast. at some point i am going to have all the chrome (ie bumpers, grille surround...I think thats really it) bedlined to match the bottom part of my truck
