Thanks!

I need to add "home link" to the mod list. I just got one off e-bay.
Did I mention tinted windows?

I'm really in Spring Valley but nobody knows where that is. I work on the MCRD, even though I'm a Coastie.

I don't really see the problem with the mileage on this thing. I set the cruise at about 72 on the way home from Escondido and got right at 18.0 MPG according to the computer. Isn't that what they are supposed to get? I was doing better but got stuck in stop and go traffic due to an accident.

Gotts
Edge Evo for towing
tinted windows
bed liner
camper shell
double-din with nav and back up camera
running boards

might look into brighter headlights

My goals are comfort, convenience and a solid running truck.
That's what they all say, till you look on eBay., and.....Oooohhh... I bet those smoked tailights would look sweet. Wow.... those blacked out headlights are so cheap. Aaaand now your hooked.
Congrats on the new ride and good luck keeping it stock.

So far so good, I've stayed on track for almost a whole day!

Ordered my roll on bed liner, I'll give a review of that.

I'm going to see a guy about a camper shell today, I have a paint quote already.

I scheduled my oil change and inspection with Ford for next week.

I'll be going by Sams to schedule my new tires later today.

I ordered my running boards from amazon.

I'll get my window tint next week, I'm leaving town for a few days tomorrow.

I just bought a gryphon tuner from another member.

I just need to pick out my double din stereo and back up camera and I'll be all set!

I'll pick up my Gotts supplies next week and do that when I do my spark plugs and such.

I'm also waiting for a quote to get my seats cleaned, the leather looks like it absorbed clothing dye or something. And to get the drivers side seat panel repaired, you know from getting in and out of the truck.

^ All very good choices. I have a little tear on the front right corner of my seat. After about 4 years now I'm finally going to do something about it.

All 8 Spark plugs DONE! Details in the spark plug thread

Bedliner- done, monstaliner DIY- currently the truck is packed for moving later this month, when I unload it I'll let you know how it holds up.

Camper shell- used from CL and then painted to match.

nerf/step rails- amazon.com specials. bolted to factory points and look/work good.

double din w/back up camera- installed today. I went with an older model Alpine that is the same as the one I put in my car. Sat radio, blue tooth, 7" touch screen, nav blah blah blah.

gryphon evo tuner, bought used from the forum. I like it in map 2/towing!

gotts mod with K&N slide in air filter- I noticed a difference but it was slight.

still need to get the windows tinted and change the fuel filter.

MAF- pulled it and sprayed it with some MAF cleaner. NOT CARB CLEANER

Alpine INA W900. I found one new in the box that included the sat radio and bluetooth compnents for $499 on ebay. There are newer models but I've been happy enough with this in my car and this way I don't have to learn a new system.

PICS soon. Right now I need to figure out these clips on the fuel filter.
