This is why I never tell my friends (or anyone) how much I spend on a vehicle, toy, etc. They'll go out of their way to find something wrong..

thats like telling someone they got an ugly tattoo... but seriously maybe the guy told that stuff to the dealer, im not trying to stand up for the dealer but theres a good possibility that he didnt know and was just trying to make it sound like he knew what he was talking about...

Now lets see how screwed he got

what did he pay for the truck? how many miles are on it? is there any known drive line issues?

I laughed because i told my friend to talk to me before he bought any vehicle... then i told him not to buy this truck because the dealership was a run down mechanic shop. so when he showed up to my house with the truck that i told him not to buy in the first place, the only thing left to do was LAUGH!!!! lol

also tell him to bring it back to the dealership ASAP!! raise hell with them about it and they will fix it. if they say no, then go regional, and so on and so on. i got my cam phasers done for free cause i went back 2 days after i bought mine when my brother (former ford mechanic) told me about them.

no i knew it was a good price, but the dealership was lieing to my buddy and they tried to hide some of the problems on the truck so i told him not to buy the lemon. i got my 05 xlt 4x4 scab with 32k on it for $13,750...2 1/2 years ago but i i got it from this old guy down the road, not a crappy mechanic shop that sells 2 cars a year, you know??
