Default Morning start up rattle

Almost every morning when I start my truck I'll get a rattle for about 15 seconds and it goes away. I've looked under the front after start up and it seems to me like it's coming from one of the pulleys. What's the easiest way to find out where this rattle is coming from or has anyone had a similar experience ?

Pop the hood before start up and stand there gazing at everything while somebody else starts your motor..

I've narrowed it down to either the tensioner pulley or the one right below it, bearings might be going out. I'm due for a new belt also (little slack but nothing to worry about) but will be changing it.

Take the belt off and spin the pulleys by hand.

When you spin them by hand it should be very easy to feel the one that has bad bearings or has play in it

Also check the AC compressor clutch bearing. They clutch and bearing can wear and rattle.

My truck does this and I'm pretty sure it's related to the cam tensioners. Takes them a few minutes to pump up. VCT's I think they're called
