More Shudder Issues

Does it almost feel like a heavy weight is shifting in the back of the truck? Remove your drive shaft and check the yoke where it goes into the transmission/transfer case. If there is metal "glitter", you will have to replace the drive shaft. Otherwise, grease it. Go to your dealer to get the special teflon drive shaft yoke grease. Ford did not grease them from the factory.

Sometimes if feels like that and I was definitely wondering about the slip yoke, but other times its a full on chatter. I'm going to stop by the dealer today and see if they can reflash the TCM/PCM then if that doesn't work the slipyoke will be my next try.

All u joints are fine, slip yoke is fine, & the tranny techs can't get it to replicate. They are saying it doesn't sound like a tranny issue because it does not "flare up" when shifting. It's always after a cold start & a few ppl have suggested it might be one of the shifter solenoids going bad. I guess it's common with Dodges & it's the same symptoms so maybe it could be that with my Ford? Is there anyway to check on the condition of these?
