Not sure what you mean by interchange, but you can put the mirrors from an 09 to 13 truck on ours and vice versa. You may or may not have to change the pins on the electrical conectors, but they bolt up.
Almost 2 years ago a month after i bought my 08, a tree fell on my driver side mirror and broke the glass and hinge and damaged the housing. The dealer wanted 625 each for replacements so i sought out the auto recycling yard(wreckers). 225 for a replacement....not bad but 2 or 3 days to get one from another yard than the one I was dealing with. Not a problem, but when i got the call it was in and go down to get it I saw it was different from mine. I enquired about the one for the passenger side and he checked and was available. So longer story short it cost 450 to replace both and they are from a 2011 truck...5 months old from the die stamps....pretty much brand new. Also if you want or are interested the factory style tow package mirrors from the 2009 up models fit our trucks too. These are direct bolt on also.
