Thank you. I picked it up for a steal because the 4WD wasn't working, vacuum solenoid and shocks is all it needed. 100k miles and I paid $6k. Other than that the paint on the roof is oxidized so I'm thinking of bedlining it, the center portion of the hood, grill, bumpers and running boards. What do yall think? Monstaliner is my choice of liner. Best DIY on the market. 8mils thick when rolled and thicker when sprayed. Wish I had a place to spray. Would make it much easier.
Here is a picture of my jeep after I bedlined it.

GhostriderI & Nosajb15af I agree with both you regarding what we should've accomplished back in 90-91. But I wont get on my soap box tonight. >>> Funny that you both commented on the wonderful joy it was to be tactical 16 hours a day in NBC suit. I was all set for a CAX 89 Feb-Mar "Cold Weather Training", in Greenland if I remember correctly. But orders were cancelled and most of us sent to a little slice of heaven known as Stumps/29 Palms. Very similar to El Paso- 110 Day and 60 at night.
20K Marines and less than 5 women for 100 miles. Anyway, The Air Wing fellows got a kick out of dropping a couple cans of RC Gas on us and watching us scramble to don and clear our masks while working on AAVs, M60A1's, 155 SP's... I always got a kick out of it because I normally had my own Ord/Maint AAV or our Recovery AAV. We'd button up and fire up the hog and turn on the smoke generators. They didn't know if vehicle caught fire or rounds were starting to cook off. I was reading the thread and just burst out laughing thinking about all the crazy "stuff" we did to entertain ourselves in middle of desert. Take care.

As yes, the 5 women of camp. Desert queens we called them in Iraq. Could have been but ugly, but being the only female around... She was a god. Too bad they carried these attitudes back home with them lol. Air Force kept ourselves entertained alright lol. Stupid **** we got yelled at for, taking a potta potty door off and using it as a sled down a aircraft haz side. Off roading with flight line trucks, staging fight between camel spiders and scorpions.... Huh, looking back now, seems like desperate fun. Lol

LOL We has a camel spider named Rambo and a scorpion named Hercules both fights ended up a draw.. the OD caught us and made us release them after the second battle said we were being cruel to them. Then the air war started and we were no longer speed bumps...
