Default Melling m340, m360, and 10340 differences?

Can someone tell me the differences between these pumps? Information seems to be limited as far as I can see.

From my recent research the m360 is pretty much equivalent to our OEM pumps just built better. The 10340 is the same just a higher pressure. Don't know about the m340. I could be wrong as I had trouble finding much info about them as well.

Yeah I saw that, but I guess what I'm looking for is why do people choose x vs y when doing the timing components. For example, I would like to run the 10340 when the time comes, but the m360 is cheaper and a LOT of people choose this one....I guess I'd like to know the pros and cons to them as well.

LOL good luck. I hope you get some answers. I never got much from the smart fellers on here. Couple even said they called Melling and couldn't get a straight answer. My truck runs great with the 10340 but I haven't taken an actual oil pressure since I got it put in. My deciding factor was 1) higher pressure, even though higher volume would be better. 2) it costs more so it has to be better right?

Why are you considering changing the oil pump?

Have you thought about the Ford Racing one (M-6600-F46)I have that one. No issues so far and get great oil pressure.

Im not replacing the oil pump. I honestly was just curious to see what the differences are to help someone needing to replace it. Eventually, I will replace it when I have to do timing, but hopefully no time soon

I still get great pressure with my OEM pump. Did not change during timing job and still have 30+ hot idle pressure.

I need to get the pressure on mine checked. Did you install an oil pressure gauge? How did you check it?
