I have a 2005 F-150 and live in the south Denver metro area (Littleton) . Does anyone reccomend a particular mechanic / auto repair shop in the area? I have looked on line and read differing reviews . There doesn't seem to be a clear winner.

I need someone good at diagnostic work. There is something jacked up with my engine or transmission. My gas mileage has plummeted from over 17 mpg to around 11.5 mpg. The drivetrain feels restrained. It seems to get worse after I've been in 4wd or after I reverse.

I don't know the traditional shops down that way but Mile Hi Motorsports does excellent work. A lot of their business is customizations but they may do regular fix-it stuff or at least give you a recommendation if they're full.

Warning though... visiting that shop may result in a strong desire for upgrades.
