Yea thats pretty close to what I did except instead of the level I used the stock 4wd struts to get the extra 2 inches as well as adding Camburg upper control arms for more travel and smoother ride. I did add a leaf and lift shackles in the back.

I love your truck!! did you only change out the struts to add 2" and does it go right onto the it or is there other things that have to be changed for it to work and not cause problems?

Thanks man. Yea the 4wd struts swap right in. I changed my upper control arms because when I went that high the stock ones wore out prematurely and got some aftermarket ones with more travel. Doing the strut swap is essentially the same thing as adding a leveling kit on top of a 6 inch lift.

Thanks, I did it myself and you can totaly tell up closeI do plan on adding a 6" lift, 5.0 coyote, manual tranny,a roll pan and a Cervini bumper cover and a professional paint job.I love the look of the 04-08 MUCH better than the new ones, but the 5.0 is so sweet and mine is paid off next year. It sucks that my V8 has less HP than the base V6 in the new ones.Just have to talk the wife into it
