Well my dad has a used car lot and we buy from dealer auctions all the time. When I bought my 06 in Minneapolis 04-05 models with over 100K and one with an engine miss brought 14K. That was one with a damn motor miss!!! 06-08 models with low mileage are still bringing around that 20-24K mark, plus keep in mind buyers fees and fees to get them back to the dealership. Those trucks bring good money still. I found a good deal on my 06 just by chance. I snapped it up very fast at 11,500 from that dealer I found it at.

Figure this info may help you out, knowing what dealerships are paying for these trucks at auction blocks, plus they have to fix them and turn around and make a profit.

I got my XLT 4x4 with the Chrome package and heavy towing (7lug) package with 30K miles out the door for an even $20K, thats why I figured the Fx4 with consoleshift/moonroof/ etc would go for a little more.

i got my 07 for 17,000 but i could only find it for having 80,000 miles on it compared to the 30-40,000. other than that. they are all priced like that. if you up your miles a bit, you should be able to find the same one for 5-7,000 cheaper.

Went up to drive the truck today, turns out the previous owner was a smoker, it smelled horrible inside. The search continues.

The odor can be taken care of. Its not that difficult. Push the issue with dealer I'm sure they have an odor guy who comes around doing that stuff. Beautiful truck though. I'd buy it and boost it
