Maybe buying an 07...imput please
Tossing around the idea of getting an F150 instead of another diesel. Might be checking this one out this week. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...pe=b&make=FORD it seems like it may be a little over priced, but i like it. Thoughts/opinions from the experts please. Thanks.

As of recent, the 04's to 08's have gone up in price; I don't know how much is "valid", but I have noticed the price increase. Could be because of the current economy (folks are not buying new), the fact that they are good trucks, or all of the above.
Only you can really determine if it's a good buy, based on your requirements. There will be those that will chime in and say they got a better deal, and perhaps you could too. Then again, it might be months before you find that "deal", and maybe you cannot wait that long.
Ask for the service records, do a Carfax, and take along a "neutral" person to inspect it with you.

About a month ago I purchased a 2007 F150 Larait 2WD, it has all of the options you mention and the price was $20,500. Sounds like yours is priced in the same area.

Ive seen 07's around here going for 30k so that price doesnt seem outrageous, especially from a dealer. Remember, what they are asking is different from what they want. Good luck with the finance/dealer add-on/ warranty guy. They are pirahnas!

Looks good. You could probably get it for $22 out the door if you haggled right.

I recently bought an '07 Extended Cab 4x4 Lariat with 22k miles for $22k. Dealer was asking $24k. Plus they put in a remote starter in for free as part of the deal! Truck is mint, has a decent amount of extra's. Sucka's
