My brother is a cop in Kansas City, and he has 5% on his personal car (Black Mustang GT). He told me that most cop's are worried about catching bad guys and they won't waste their time with tinted cars unless your doing something "suspicous". He is the typical Mr. Tough Guy Johnny Lawman.

I had the front windows tinted yesterday. I decided to go with 35% on the front two. It came out great!!!! The front ended up being a shade or so lighter than the rear, but I really like the final look. Before pic.

I had a Nissan Titan and 2 years ago they had a special=$65 for the front two doors. Business is real good now days and he is up to $99 for my front two doors (any of the shades). My buddy who dropped me off in a 2500 chevy 4door who has NO factory tint, he was told it was $109 for the back two doors and back window. He currently only wants that. I think it will be another $99 for his front two.
I was told the brand name of the film which is not 3M. It has a lifetime warranty nationwide. The receipt shows "EWF Lifetime Warranty Ceramic Film" for whatever that means. I was happy with his work and product on the previous truck, so I had no problem using him again.
He told me the same thing as this thread, that if I wanted 20% on the front, I should use 50% on all the back and it would work out real nice, but the back would be really dark also. I'm happy with just putting on 35% for the front.

Dave
