Angry Master Door Code Is giving me a headache

First of all, I bought a 2007 F-150 Crew cab XLT 5.4 Triton. I do not have the Master Door Code for it. Some said it was on the passenger side near the fuse box. It wasn't. Another said it was on the Driver side door jam. Nope. Another said give the Ford dealer the Vin Number and they would give it to me. My dealer said nope, you didn't buy it from us. I have to give them $100 to scan for the code. The Dealer in Amarillo says you can't get a door code from a Vin. Same $100 charge to get it. Found a video that said it was on a sticker on a black box (I think he called it the BCM) behind the backseat panel. Video showed how to lower the seat panel and there it was on that black box. The problem is I cannot get that panel off. The man reached behind the seat and pulled back a lever and lifted the panel up. I cannot get my arm behind that panel. No one I know can reach behind that panel. I took it to a truck mechanic, and he couldn't do it. Then I went to a body repair shop, and he couldn't do it. But he did say to come back next Wednesday, and he will try with a bar that slips down behind the top of the seat to reach the lever. So that is where I'm at right now. Anyone else has any problem getting that back seat panel off?

You have to use a flat screwdriver or prybar and release a tab on either side, there is no reaching down from behind the seat, that's for an 09-14.
On the 04-08 crew cab you have to unscrew the middle seatbelt cover and pry at the bottom of the seat back ner the seat belt latches.
There are videos on YouTube that show the way to do it,

Thanks, I will look again. The one video I looked at was for a 2007 F-150. Don't know what 09-14 or 04-08 means. This is the video I found.

I've never seen the reach around trick

My truck is an 04 and this first part of video helped me with my seat back
I used a large flat screwdriver and then jam a piece of rolled up towel in the first side after you release it to hold it up while you undo the other side.

I feel your pain.
I can still feel the pain from removing mine in my 04 supercrew.
I ended up pulling the plastic panels on both sides of the seat (PITA) to get at mine and only then, with my wife's tiny hands could we get it out.
My hands were cut and scratched all over from this.
Those irritating litlle clips got cut off before I reassembled it.
But the code is in there and it was worth it.

It is definitely tough to get the back seat off. Once you get the feel for what you have to do, it gets a little easier. Did you happen to check your owners manual for a card with the door code? I bought my truck used and found the card with the owners manual that had the code.

No owner's manual. Had to download one. I'm the 4th owner of this truck

I thought this video would do it for me. I found the tab; I found the hole. There was something metal up against the hole. I used a long screw drive and placed it in the hole and pushed. Nothing moved. I even hit the driver with a hammer, still nothing. I'm beginning to think someone already removed this seat and replace it the wrong way, jamming it in place.

Try pushing down on the seatback while pushing the screwdriver in and upward, then lift the seatback up. Seems like the first time it was tricky but after getting it once it becomes easier to do the second side or to repeat it.
