I have ddm tuning HIDS (55w, 5000k) in for my low, fog, and high beams.

That was 3 whole kits correct? (one for lows/one for highs/ one for fogs?)

Unless you have a single headlight housing which would mean two kits (hi/low kit and one kit for fogs)

Am I correct in my thinking?

Yes 3 kits which comes to 6 bulbs and 6 ballast.

Yeah, I just got the one kit for now (lows only). Am I correct in assuming that my "brights" that are halogens will still be functional?

Yes your other lights work fine, each light has a separate harness. So when you plug in your lows, your highs won't be touched.

Definitely interested in this; I've got aftermarket projectors (Spyder) but I haven't tried HID's yet, and I'm really wanting to. Let us know how it goes.
