Default M30 vs m36 water pump hub

How can you tell which is needed?
2008 kr 2wd, 5.4 flex, towing package w/ aux trans cooler.

Had to call the dealer to confirm which one is needed. Make sure y'all do the same before purchasing!!

Assume yours has the m36. My 08 has the 5.4 w/tow pkg, etc and I went thru this same ordeal.
In fact, I have a brand new Ford water pump (not a rebuild) with smaller hub in the box.

Yup, mine has the m36. I went with Gates. I don't plan on changing it in the immediate future, but decided to go ahead and jump on the 30 dollar deal and save it just in case.
