Where can I find these plugs specifically for the F-150 '05 5.4 Triton?

Think I'm going to try the E3's. (E3.70) $9.99 each from Jegs, Summit Racing and Oreilly's. They are one piece as well.

Default Spark plug replacement for 5.4L

I am a little late to the party but thought I would put in my 2 sense...

Searching for ticking noise and thought it was exhaust manafold gaskets.

A long story shortened: Replaced my spark plugs with the exact same brand I removed ( Autolite HT 15 Platinum - 2 piece style) they lasted aproximatly 2 1/2 months and failed. I installed Champion # 7989 ( one piece style ) from Kragen and very happy with the performance 2 months running. I sent the Autolites back to Honeywell for evaluation, all 8 plugs looked like they failed due to leaking ( pressure bypassing through plug not threads) I just recieved a letter back from Honeywell and they said it was due to worn spark plug boots and excessive gap between the boot and the insulator and that they will not assume liability. I do not agree with their analysis but as its said " you cannot fight city hall". I will post photos of the plugs so you can decide for yourself.

Just providing feedback for those that may have experienced the same issue. Buyer beware
Thanks,
Bill

and my engine never missed a beat, with no overheating or dettination.I think these Champion plugs are worth a try.SP 507 plugs are still two piece construction and the same problem will exist next time you change plugs down the road.At least the champion plugs can be removed o.k.
Do you have to replace the boots on the COP since you used the Champion plug? If so, what was the part number for these replacement boots and where did you get them? Or did you just use your existing boots?

Thanks,

I'm getting ready to do a plug change also but you can get Motorcraft plugs from your local parts store (Oreillys auto parts) for $7.99 each. Si there is no need to pay $150 for plugs if you are you using OEM

I just did the deed last Thursday night...ordered the Lisle tool, and WAITED FOR IT!!!...I installed Motorcraft plugs, new boots and coupler springs. I religiously run Sea Foam through my fuel system ( ya know, carbon killer). Not gonna lie, I was scared ****less. Got the motor warm, blew out each hole with a blow nozzle, started at #5 and BAM, slipped right out....DIDN'T BREAK A SINGLE PLUG!!!
Also, was advised to put a little dab of anti-sieze on plug threads.
Now, I'm back up to 14.5 to 15mpg in town and 19.5 to 20.5mpg on the highway!!!

When I was an apprentice at a ford dealer, we learned never to put champion plugs in a ford. As such, I used the e3's and they're dynamite.
Just don't drop them! Make sure the ceramic insulator around the electrode is not broken otherwise you'll get a miss

Well maybe the 5.4 is different.... All I know is on the 3l vulcan v6, the 3.8, 4.0 and the other older ford motors if we put champions in they'd misfire after a short while and never pass an emissions test!
