Default Love my truck...hate my 2WD!!!

Well...my "Georgia" got stuck tonight in some nastiness of a mud basin. Construction nearby makes for great muddin'...I have mud grapplers and mods all over the place...but nothing can compete with 4WD! My only regret...2WD. Neighbor had to pull me out in his 4WD Explorer

There's no way uyou should be mudding with 2WD. That's not going to work out well ....ever.

Stick to fire roads, and river beds.

I've only needed 4wd once and that's because my nut job of a friend told me to pull down into a feild after it had just rained. Other than that its great in the snow and I take it down in the woods behind my house to get a little mud action. Do I wish it was 4wd? Yes. On the other hand I wish my Mustang GT had 600 hp :p

Add a locker to your list of mods, it might have been enough to get you back out.

Looks like you went a long ways and spent a bunch of money to make it look like a 4x4, why not just buy a 4x4 next time?

Locker or a Tru-Trac will do you wonders. I've only had one 2wd truck, and I didn't take it off road at all. My other trucks have always been 4wd. Most of the time you won't need it, but you'll regret it the few times you do need it and don't have it. Not to rub it in, but now you know a truck should have 4wd, period.

No problem, what are strangers on the internet for?

Truthfully, before you invest the money into a locker make sure you ask yourself this question: "How often am I going to go mudding in my truck that will require a modification like this"? If the answer is seldom, get a nice winch and ****** block instead.
